St. Patrick's Day is a great holiday where everyone, no matter what culture, becomes Irish for the day. While you could spend the holiday clinking glasses of Guinness in an Irish Pub, there are other activities in the St. Louis area you can check out to get the full St. Patty's Day experience. Below is a list of the top five reasons why you should attend the St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival in St. Louis, MO.

1.  The Parade

This parade will feature more than 120 different floats and inflatable cartoon character balloons, as well as more than 5000 marchers making their way from Market Street to Broadway and Clark. Food and drinks will be available throughout the parade route, so you and your friends or family can have a great time and stay nourished during the parade.

2.  The Entertainment

There will be loads of fun activities for St. Patty's Day in St. Louis. There will be a variety of fun villages you can visit throughout the day's festivities. The Leprechaun Village, being held in the Aloe Plaza, will feature activities and entertainment for all ages.

3.  The Run
