There's no denying the Nissan TITAN is a tough truck that's up for a challenge in the greater St. Louis and O'Fallon areas. However, to keep your vehicle performing its best, it's important to stay on top of crucial routine maintenance items.

To help our St. Charles and Saint Peters area customers know when their TITAN is due for a checkup, St. Charles Nissan created this Nissan TITAN maintenance schedule.

*Note that we will be covering gas engine models, operated under normal driving conditions. Intervals may vary for Diesel-powered trucks or trucks operated under severe conditions.

Nissan TITAN Maintenance: Every 5,000 Miles

The first big mile marker is 5,000 miles. It's at this point that you're going to want to get your first oil change and have the technicians replace your engine oil filter. You should also be sure to have your tires rotated at this interval.

Every 10,000 Miles

In addition to everything in the 5,000-mile service, the 10,000-mile for your Nissan TITAN requires you to check many components of the chassis and body:

  • Brake lines and cables
  • Brake pads and rotors
  • Transfer Fluid and differential gear oil
  • Propeller shaft and drive shaft boots (4-wheel drive models only)

Every 15,000 Miles

Every 15,000 miles, be sure to replace your in-cabin microfilter and your Nissan Intelligent Key® battery (if applicable).

Nissan TITAN: 20,000-Mile Maintenance

The 20,000-mile mark adds several services to your 5,000- and 10,000-mile service. First, have your EVAP vapor lines and fuel lines inspected.  You should also:

  • Inspect Steering gear and linkage,
  • Inspect axle and suspension parts,
  • Inspect exhaust system,
  • Replace your brake fluid.

Every 30,000 Miles

At the 30,000-mile mark, get your 5,000- and 10,000-mile service, and have the air cleaner filter in your Nissan TITAN replaced. If you're doing a lot of towing, off-roading, or other harsh driving, also make sure to have your automatic transmission fluid changed at this mark.

Every 40,000 Miles

After your first 40,000 miles, have the drive belts in your Nissan TITAN inspected and replaced. They should be inspected every 20,000 miles and replaced every 100,000 miles after that. Also receive your 5,000-, 10,000-, and 20,000-mile service.

Nissan TITAN Maintenance: 105,000 Miles

Congratulations on keeping your TITAN going strong for this long! This mile marker brings two big service requirements:

  • Replace your spark plugs
  • Replace your engine coolant

While your spark plugs should be replaced every 105,000 miles, your engine coolant should be replaced every 75,000 miles after this initial replacement. For this, genuine Nissan Long Life Antifreeze/Coolant is recommended, with a ration of 50% antifreeze and 50% demineralized or distilled water. This is to ensure maximum product life expectancy.

Of course, don't forget to receive your 5,000-, and 15,000-mile service at this time.
